After a few years of working in weddings, hospitality and corporate events, during and after studying for my BSc Hons Events Management Degree, my passion for creating the finest and most memorable experiences, flourished.
My undergraduate dissertation focused on the idea of creating a more memorable guest experience, through full sensory engagement. Ever listened to a song, smelt a fragrance, tasted a specific food or drink, and vividly recollected a person, place or item? The most memorable experiences and associations are usually linked to sensory engagement. I'm currently working on ways in which I can intertwine this into the Fresh Alfresco experience.
After graduating with a First Class Degree, the pull to travel led myself and my other half to travel the East Coast of Australia, where I discovered and fell in love with the rustic, natural and laid-back Aussie lifestyle.
Although living through a pandemic has been very odd to say the least, it has given me time to reconsider my next move for my career. My love for good food, the outdoors, nature, design and creating memorable experiences, intertwined with influences from travel and culture, is what led me to bring Fresh Alfresco - a small lockdown business - to life!
While I am currently creating and extending the Fresh Alfresco menu, I have also just introduced al fresco dining into the mix, creating a truly sensational experience and leaving you with loving memories you'll cherish forever.

I was also very aware of the businesses footprint when sourcing our packaging suppliers. Thats why all of our packaging, down to every box, platter base, disposable tableware and even stickers, are either recyclable or biodegradable.

Supporting local has always been important, but now, more than ever! In the Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire area, we are all so lucky to have the incredible Peak District on our doorstep. Nested within, are many artisan businesses, run my incredibly creative and talented, local people.
Local suppliers and produce are used as much as possible in the Fresh Alfresco grazes. In fact, most of our suppliers are based in and around the areas of Matlock, Cromford and Crich.
